Acute Care Unit

Our acute care unit provides care for patients whose health status calls for intensive permanent medical care and supervision, where outpatient treatment is not possible due to the seriousness of the disease.

Indications:

• Cardiovascular diseases such as coronary heart disease, heart failure, inflammatory heart diseases, hypertension, diagnosis and treatment of risk factors
• Acute diseases of the locomotor system, such as acute disc prolapse, acute pain, paraesthesia, rheumatic and degenerative diseases
• Acute allergic conditions including respiratory diseases such as bronchial asthma, COPD, skin diseases such as exacerbations in neurodermatitis patients, psoriasis exacerbations, inflammatory intestinal diseases such as colitis ulcerosa, food allergies and intolerances
• Mental stress including burnout syndrome, depression, severe fatigue; accompanying psychological treatment of tumor patients
• Tumoral diseases: holistic naturopathic tumor treatment, also before and after operations, accompanying biological cancer therapy for chemotherapy and radiation patients
